How to delete your account

1. Sign in to your ChessOnyx account.
2. Open Settings and select the Privacy tab.
3. Choose "Delete my account" and confirm by typing DELETE.

What gets deleted

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. The following is removed permanently:

• Your login and profile, including your email address and username
• All imported games and their analysis data
• Your puzzle history, puzzle rating and theme statistics
• Linked Chess.com and Lichess usernames
• Your settings, board themes and saved preferences

What we may keep

Where a subscription was purchased, invoices and payment records are kept for as long as tax and commercial law requires (in Germany, generally up to 10 years). These records are kept for that legal obligation only and are not used for anything else. Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that can no longer be linked to you may also remain.

Need help?

If you cannot sign in, or you would rather have us delete the account for you, write to us from the address the account uses and we will take care of it.
